Halloween

Halloween wasn't quite what we hoped. Shea refused to get in costume when it came time to go to our block party. She was the only kid there in jeans and a t-shirt, and could not have cared less. So, when Scott was going to take Sam to a couple houses for trick or treating, she decided to throw on her princess dress and wig. We decided she went as the princes version of herself. A disheveled little princess rug rat...We only went to 4 houses which ended up being good for me since there wasn't a lot of candy around the house for me to eat after!

Dartmouth Game

It was 75 degrees last weekend for the football game! Some shots from the day...

Waiting for the bus...

When we are up early enough, the kids like to watch the high school kids get on the bus in the morning in front of our house...Sam is waiting for Uncle Joey to send him a Huskie shirt. Til then, he'll be sporting the Trojans...

Early Fall Fun

Some shots of the kids yesterday. Shea helped me take some brush to Daddy's fire pit, we enjoyed the beautiful weather, and Emile came over for a few hours!

Bathroom Pics

Here are some before and after shots of the bathroom....I promised Ash that I would include a pic of my growing belly but Shea proved not to be a capable photographer. I'll take one at some point. Promise!

where the toilet and sink was, is now the laundry area

On the near side of what was a full wall, was a double vanity and tub across. Now it is a half wall and serves as a bathroom. Sink, toilet, and across is a shower. The shower still needs to be tiled so I didn't take a pic of that.

Sam Walks!!

Sam officially started walking over the weekend! He is so cute. Shea gets a big kick out of it. The first video I took of him walking Shea ruined. She decided to strip down and run around in front of the camera yelling "mama, look at my bum". So Sam and I got up before her this morning and got another one...

Summer is over...!

Preseason started on Wednesday so our summer is over. But we had a great one. AND, the bathroom is just about complete!!! Scott worked really hard and was able to pretty much finish the whole thing. The only part we have left is to tile the shower. That will probably have to wait until after the season. I am going to post pics soon once I finish a few things, like paint the door and accessorize. We are so proud of Scott. It looks amazing. And aside from needing a plumber to move the pipe for the toilet, he did the whole remodel himself.

Wisconsin 2009!

We just got back from a week long trip to Wisconsin to see Gramma and Grampa. We had such a good time. Shea was a natural on the midway. Absolutely loved everything about it. We also celebrated Sam's 1st birthday. Some shots from the week, more later...

Beach Day

We went to the beach on Sunday. Shea had fun. Sam's take on the day was "if you're going to make me go to the beach, I better be drinking. His father's son...Shea also tried out to be a Baywatch Babe.

Sam's fist haircut!!

The blond curls were cute but against a lot of protest (mostly from other moms who found his curly locks to be darling) we decided it was time for this boy to start looking like one:). Scott did the honors and although I wanted a nice short wiffle, we decided this was a good start...

this is basically how the whole cut went

handsome!!

Budding Romance?

Sam did not make a good impression on Logan...

But proved he does have a tender side.
